Diego is the first male we have kept from any of our pairings; his type is outstanding..his size is phenomenal. This was a male that is everything we want to incorporate into our breeding program. He has enormous drive...ball insane is more appropriate. His bone strength is super huge, headpiece is very broad with a very strong stop, excellent ear set with the ears close to his cheek. Dark eyes and a compact muzzle with big cheeks and eye fill finish this outstanding headpiece. Diego's coloration is simply gorgeous; deep red mahogany with small markings, reminiscent of his great great grandfather Mambo vd Teufelsbrucke...he in fact carries a lot of his traits. His body is impeccable.. superb top line and transitions, a very well developed chest and great shoulder muscles. His rear end is broad with excellent correct angulations and a very powerful drive and push. Coming from two world class movers, it is expected.

Diego is the "Bad Boy" of the AKC and he is just flat out impressive; a gigantic head piece that is super dry, super bone strength, very tight compact back, when he walks he exudes power ....Diego is "The Man" and he knows it. Temperament.. shall we say very "FULL". Diego's type will be hard to beat and to match. Diego's show career has been hit and miss due to his nature, the boy just does not like his personal space being invaded and true to his nature will let you know it. Unlike the passive Rotts in the arena, he is anything but and whether he can be shown successfully or not is of no concern to us because we would not like Diego to be any other way because a Rott male is a dominator, not a lamb and he is a wolf amongst the lambs.

As Diego turned 3 years of age, he has become an even more mountain of a dog. I have to strongly agree with the Breeders, Judges and show people that have seen him of recent; there is absolutely nothing out there like him. The terms most used is that he is massive, a monster, a hair covered mountain and just flat out incredible. He is tall, he is incredibly wide, he is unbelievably thick and naturally muscled. His neck is like a beer keg, deep set and dark eyes, black mouth, HUGE bone strength and a rear end that is wide enough for two well built males. Diego's head continues to grow and becoming even more pronounced in stop and cheek, he is much like his father Herbie whom to this day continues to grow further.

Personally, what I think makes Diego the stud dog that I prefer is that not only is he a throw back to what a true Rottweiler was, he embodies a lot of what is new with regard to more rear angulation, flatter croup yet brings his heritage of great movers through also. Rarely do you see a male this big, this built with this much drive and motion/movement. Add into this that his pedigree is 100% jam packed with the very best there is and ever was, PERIOD! Every dog dominated in producing, every dog made its mark in the history of the breed and in turn, each made progeny that have been memorialized in the Rottweiler history. It is hard to find a male that has a pedigree that is second to no other and surpasses it. Lastly, Diego makes Diego and boy does he make himself; the pups from our Queen litter where outstanding with no loose skin, no throat skin, big bone, huge drive, black eyes, great movement, impeccable top lines, strong rear angulation, straight front and rear feet...just perfect pups and that beautiful red mahogany.

We expect powerful, very broad chests with correct elbows and shoulders. Exceptional top lines, croup and transitions. Rear angulations will be very correct and deep bottom lines. Herbie is 68cm height, weight 59kg and Naja is 62cm height, weight 47kg. Both are hitting the maximum in standards. This is definitely a pairing that has potential for extreme, excellent show potential and breed stock." This pairing is going to be exciting and explosive!
